From Idea to Reality: The Evolution of the National Homicide Justice Alliance

Bringing together families of crime victims.

Mission Statement

Empowering survivors of murder victims.

It takes a lot of love and support to rebuild lives after a murder. No one can do this alone and thus the National Homicide Justice Alliance proposes that through unity we can accomplish justice, and through justice we can find peace.

We are survivors of murder victims who have united to support and empower each other, primarily as an advocacy and education group for issues relating to  the aftermath of a homicide. These issues include response and communications with the homicide unit detectives and other agencies throughout the investigation process, the resolution of unsolved cases, and the stringent prosecution of gun violence and murder cases. We also advocate for quality standards of support services to survivors of murder victims. We advocate for common sense gun laws, gun violence awareness and prevention. We advocate for human rights and dignity, so that others will not have to suffer a loss like ours.
